Pens by Norman are more than just tools for briefly written notes, tweets and chirps. They are personally chosen or received as special gifts from someone who cares. They are held, collected, admired, shown off and treasured. These pens are used to express and share thoughts, convey dreams and explore visions.
I craft each pen by hand here in the Pacific Northwest. My shop is a converted wine cellar.
We try to get orders out to you within 2-3 days. However, because each pen is made by hand, only a certain number of pens can be made in a day. There also may be occasions when we are waiting for product from our suppliers. This could result in a wait of 2-3 weeks for an order. If it appears that we will need more than two weeks, you will be notified by email. It is a good idea to give yourself some time when ordering a pen as a gift. If you are not sure you will get your order in time, consider a Gift Certificate from Pens by Norman. They are available on the tool bar at the top of the home page.
Most pens shown in the various product categories can be reproduced. Because each pen is made by hand, there will be variations due to differences in composition of the synthetic pen blank as well as natural wood grain and color. There are some pens that are one of a kind and we will not be able to reproduce the pen once it shows as "out of stock".

Unless noted in the pen description, each pen is shipped in a protective black sleeve. We also offer pen gift boxes as a product category on the home page. We do not do engraving. If you would like to purchase pen boxes with special engraving, we have provided links to sites where these items are offered. Click on the Custom Pens tab on the home page.
Consider registering for our Newsletter. This will allow you to be notified each time we post "New Pens" or make "Special Offers". The registration box is on the left hand column of our home page.

Moving around the site is easy. Just click and view. Click on a picture and see more about that pen. While viewing a pen under a Categories option on the left column, you can compare pens you are considering. Click the "compare" boxes by your pens of interest. Then click on Compare Selected at the bottom of that category's page. This will give you a side-by-side view of each selected pen. The option is available for all pens within a category. If you want to compare pens from more than one category, do so under the View All category.
A Sort by option is available on the top right of each category page. This allows you to view pens by various criteria such as best selling, price, alphabetical and more. You can even write a Review on a pen. This feature is found on the description section after you click on a picture.
The tabs at the top of our store's website provide information on your account, order status, wish lists and Gift Certificate options. This is also where you can view your shopping cart. The tabs beneath the store name Pens by Norman provide a great deal of additional information.
Share our Site
Below the "Add to Cart" button for each pen you will find a "Share" link. It provides multiple ways for you to let your family, friends and contacts see our products. We appreciate you sharing Pens by Norman with your personal network.
